For UK FM providers
Facilities management tender review
FM tenders often cover several services in one bid, and questions on mobilisation, helpdesk, planned maintenance and subcontractor management can each have several parts. Drafts that cover everything in one paragraph often miss parts of the question.
Who it's for
- Hard FM, soft FM and total FM providers
- Single-service providers bidding on FM frameworks
- Bid teams handling multi-service responses
Common weak points
- Service lines merged so some go unanswered
- Mobilisation written as narrative with no owners or dates
- Subcontractor management assumed rather than described
- KPIs mentioned without saying how they are measured and reported
- Accreditations listed without linking them to the question

Common patterns in this type of tender answer.
One answer for every service
A multi-service question is easier to evaluate when each service line is answered in turn.
KPIs without measurement
The answer names KPIs but not how performance is measured, reported or put right.
Subcontractors invisible
The buyer asks how subcontractors are managed; the answer only describes directly employed staff.
Weak vs stronger wording
Fictional example — FM framework, mobilisation question.
Weak draft
We will mobilise the contract using our experienced FM team, ensuring all services run smoothly from day one.
Stronger wording
Mobilisation is led by [insert role] and runs from award to [insert start date]. Weeks [insert]: asset and site information verified with the buyer. Weeks [insert]: helpdesk set up and planned maintenance schedule loaded into [insert system]. Weeks [insert]: subcontractors onboarded and inducted. Key risks are [insert risks], managed by [insert mitigations] and reviewed at [insert meeting] with the buyer.
Fictional example. Replace each [placeholder] with facts you can verify — never invent figures.

Frequently asked
Will the review tell me whether I will win?⌄
No. Nobody outside the evaluation panel can predict scores. The review shows where your answer doesn't clearly address the question or criteria, and where evidence is missing, so you can fix it before you submit.
Will the review write the bid for me?⌄
No. It reviews and improves your draft. It doesn't write a whole bid from nothing.
